We are delighted that you have decided to join our family! We hope you'll take advantage of the many social, educational, charitable and spiritual services and programs that we offer. Your membership supports not only North Shore Synagogue but the Jewish community on Long Island and beyond.

TWO ADULT FAMILY ($2550)- any child 8 years or older or entering 3rd Grade or over, or no children
ONE ADULT FAMILY ($1350)- any child 8 years or older or entering 3rd Grade or over, or no children
TWO ADULT YOUNG FAMILY ($1355) - both adults under 39 w/ all children under 8 and under 3rd Grade, or no children
ONE ADULT YOUNG FAMILY ($695) - adult under 39 w/ all children under 8 and under 3rd Grade, or no children
NURSERY SCHOOL FAMILY ($890) - all children under 8, child(ren) in NSS Nursery School (not UPK) and no child(ren) in 3rd Grade or over
YOUNG INDIVIDUAL ($700) - 1 adult 39 or younger, no children
SENIOR COUPLE 65 to 75 ($1375) - either or both adults 65-75 years old
SENIOR INDIVIDUAL 65 to 75 ($695) - adult 65-75 years old
SENIOR COUPLE 76+ ($1340) - either or both adults 76 years and over
SENIOR INDIVIDUAL 76+ ($680) - adult 76 years and over

Security assessment: $360 payable in two installments.

Building Fund:
Plan I - $2600, paid in first year of membership
Plan II - $3250, payable in 20 installments

Our synagogue fiscal year starts on July 1st. To start your membership, the initial payment is two quarters' dues, two quarters' building fund, and half of the security assessment.

Your building fund commitment is critical to the maintenance of our physical facility. Thank you!

You may switch to the one-year plan any time during your first of membership.
These funds are used to pay for the increased security required to keep our congregants, students and guests safe.

Please note that NSS policy requires that both adults in a two-adult household must join, even if they are not both Jewish. 

Initial payment to commence your membership is two quarters' dues, two quarters' building fund and one-half security assessment. 
Final amount reflecting credit card fees will be shown at checkout.
I (we) hereby apply for membership to North Shore Synagogue and agree to abide by the constitution and regulations of the congregation. I (we) further agree to assume all financial obligations for dues, building fund, tuition, pledges and assessments appropriate to our status within the congregation. All full dues paying members are entitled to Synagogue benefits, including but not limited to, exclusive access to our clergy for all local life cycle events, complimentary High Holy Day tickets based on your dues category and children’s ages, and eligibility to serve on the Board of Trustees and committees. Membership begins upon payment of two quarters of annual dues, Building Fund deposit as agreed to on the Building Fund Pledge form, and Security Assessment. Thereafter billing will be on a quarterly basis. I (we) understand that any and all fees paid to North Shore Synagogue are non-refundable.
