Committees
Committees
The Lifelong Learning Committee coordinates Jewish education for congregants; creating programs that include adult and family education learning opportunities.
The Events Committee plans and executes programming throughout the year that engages and builds relationships.
The Fundraising Committee helps secure donations and financial contributions from congregants and community businesses.
The House and Grounds Committee helps oversee the building, grounds, equipment maintenance and makes recommendations.
The Membership Committee helps to connect with congregants in order to focus on recruitment, engagement and retention. The committee will make connections between members and create opportunities for involvement.
The Insurance Committee helps review policies annually and to ensure proper coverage and premium expense.
The Investment Committee reviews the investment policy and makes recommendations, as well as looks at long term strategies.
The Marketing and Social Media Committee helps with flyers and to maintain the website as well as regular social media posts.
The Mitzvah and Caring Committee provides support to congregants and works to support the wider community in need to carry out the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam.
The Nursery School Committee provides support for the Nursery School Director and assists in reviewing programs and policies.
The Youth Learning and Engagement Committee helps with religious school, youth group, teen programs and family programs, while engaging young families in the synagogue.
The Social Justice Committee works with the RAC (Religious Action Center) of Reform Judaism, whose mission is to educate, inspire and mobilize the Reform Jewish Movement to advocate for social justice.
